Every piece of Luke Rose jewellery is exceptionally handcrafted to the highest standard, using only the finest quality metal and stones.

Although it is safe to wear your gold jewellery anywhere, we do recommend removing jewellery when you swim, bathe or whilst doing vigorous exercise, as the salt in the ocean or the acid in your sweat can sometimes cause tarnishing.

All Luke Rose yellow and rose gold comes with a branded gold polishing cloth. This can be used to gently rub your jewellery to bring back it’s shine. However, never use these cloths on rhodium plated white gold jewellery, as this can fade the plating. We also recommend cleaning your gold jewellery with a soft brush and mild detergent or ammonia solution, making sure to rinse and dry the jewellery thoroughly afterwards.

It is best to store your jewellery in it’s original Luke Rose packaging when not being worn. This will protect it from getting scratched and will prevent necklaces and bracelets becoming tangle or knotted.

We are committed to using high quality materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our local Australian supplier has a strict Environmental Sustainability Policy and is fully compliant with the LBMA Responsible Gold Guidance as well as the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.

All precious metals issued by them are sourced in a way that does not cause, support or benefit unlawful conflict, or contribute to serious human rights abuses or breaches of international law. In addition, they are subject to annual independent Conflict Metals audit. They are the only Australian organisation certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) as a jewellery manufacturer and wholesaler. The RJC is the foremost standard-setting and certification organisation for the international jewellery industry in the world and is based in London. They Invest in the future: Again, heavy investments were made in 2018 - also to promote sustainability: In addition to energy saving machines such as a state of the art dual belt soldering furnace, new ventilation systems were fitted in the entire building with heat recovery. Water dispensers with filters supply all employees free of charge with oxygen enriched cold water.

They are Innovating for the future: Automation, precision, quality and new manufacturing processes are key elements of the Schofer innovation programme - investing in the future! The new chain cutting machine works very accurately and enables a rational production. A completely new generation of chain making machines enables many new chain models to be created.

The strive for Constant improvement: In 2017, they extensively updated the entire production facility. A modern working environment enhances the quality of the product - so, we also installed LED lighting in the entire production area, supplying daylight quality lighting for all workstation and cutting power costs nearly in half.

They installed a new circulation cooling system: thanks to this investment, the environment is protected as hardly any fresh water is required to cool the welding and annealing ovens. Thanks to the equal cooling of the ovens, constant temperatures are ensured and the process safety is increased.

Luke Rose only uses diamonds sourced from ethical and accredited suppliers who have all signed up to the Kimberley Process.  Luke Rose Champagne Diamonds in particular are all sourced from the Argyle Mine in Western Australia. We handpick each diamond and precious stone that is used to ensure standards and quality is in line with the Luke Rose brand.
